The bank’s benefit scheme helps you meet your personal aspirations by unlocking bunch of benefits that provides you additional source of income through definite cash grants and gifts on significant occasions in our life cycle on your Personal Rupee or Foreign currency savings or current account.

    Duly completed ‘Mega Reward application” should be submitted to the branch within 3 months of the incident, along with the supporting documents as given below.

    • Individual Accounts

      Only the account holder(s) or immediate family members are entitled to claim under the scheme. The immediate family members of an account holder are defined below.

      • If married – Spouse and unmarried children below 18 years.
      • If unmarried/ divorced – Only the account holder (Parents and unmarried siblings are not entitled ).
    • For Joint Accounts maintained
      • Joint with Spouse:
        • Only one claim by any of the applicants will be permitted under each category including children under 18 years of age.
      • Joint with children over 18 years/ Parents/Siblings/Other person over 18 years:
        • Only one claim will be honored under each category by any applicant.
        • Joint parties will be entitled for benefits but their immediate family members are not entitled.
    1. In the event of wedding, childbirth, completion of exams with merits - Grade5,O/L, A/L, Professional exams - a minimum balance of LKR20,000/- or USD 500/- equivalent should be maintained for a minimum period of 6 months prior to the event.
    2. In the event of 21st ,50th & 60th Birthday , 10th & 25th wedding anniversary, retirement benefit -a minimum balance of LKR20,000/- or USD 500/- equivalent should be maintained for a minimum period of 12 months prior to the event.
    3. In the event of Hotel Package - a minimum balance of LKR 5.0 Mio or USD 25,000/- or equivalent should be maintained for a minimum period of 12 months prior to the event.
    4. In the event of both caesarean surgery and child birth claims are submitted, both claims will be honored.
    5. In the event customer maintains several accounts, the aggregate balance of all accounts to be considered.
    6. In the event of both parents being account holders, only one claim will be entertained.
    7. Necessary documentation should be submitted in order to receive grants and must be submitted within 3 months from the event.
    8. Customers who have obtained credit facilities against their Rupee savings and current accounts balances (full/partial) are not eligible to receive rewards under Seylan rewards scheme.
    9. Customers, who have obtained credit facilities in foreign currency (Foreign Currency Loans) against their FCY deposit balances, are eligible to receive rewards based on the leeway in balance maintained with the bank for the stipulated period. (i.e. Deposit less of loan outstanding) However, if the facilities are granted in LKR, the customer would only be eligible to enjoy the benefits for the total foreign currency held with the bank.
    10. Only one claim would be entertained per account holder under any category for a period of 365 days from the date of event.
    11. Next claim of same category could be considered, only 365 days from the initial claiming date except hotel package.
    12. Hotel package will be entitled once in two years.
    13. All grants/credits will be to the respective LKR A/C holder’s accounts and only grant of child birth, grade five scholarships and O/L will be credited to the Tikiri/Minor account. Foreign currency accounts will not be credited.
    14. Surgery at government hospitals will not be considered .
    15. The grant for surgery will be offered as a reimbursement of surgery expenses and not for hospitalization without a surgery being done.
    16. The Grade 5 scholarship grant will be applicable only for TIKIRI accounts and not be applied for parents accounts.
    17. The birthday reward is on a one off basis and not for ongoing birthdays.
    18. Grants will be applicable only for the 10th and 25th anniversaries and not be entitled for the next anniversary.
    19. The grant related to achievement of professional exams will only be offered for Degree or any other professional qualification with a minimum duration of 12months
    20. Only PFCA Personal fixed deposits are entitled and Rupee fixed deposits are not entitled.
    21. The Bank reserves the right to alter or cancel the benefit scheme without prior notice.
    22. New scheme come to effect from 01.02.2020.
